Fall Soccer 2024
As school kicked off in the fall, we asked the kids—as we always do—what activities they wanted to try for the season. Without hesitation, Jackson chose soccer again. It’s been such a joy to watch him out on the field, growing more confident and skilled with each game.
This season, he played goalie during the first half of his games. While that position can sometimes feel a bit quiet—especially since his team did such a great job keeping the ball at the other end of the pitch—Jackson took it seriously and made the most of it. We enjoyed watching him communicate with his teammates and stay focused, even when the action was far away.
As fall rolled on, we started to feel the shift in the season. The sun began setting earlier, and with that came the realization that soccer was coming to a close. But the team made the most of it—ending with a fun glow night practice under the darkening sky that made for one of the most memorable evenings.
The season wrapped up with a bang: Jackson’s team won the end-of-season tournament! After all their hard work, they earned a well-deserved medal to celebrate their success. A great ending to a great season!
