First Day of School 2024

First Day of Ninth Grade – Freshman Year

And just like that, Ellie officially entered high school! Freshman year felt like a pretty big milestone, but thankfully there weren’t too many first-day nerves since she was still at Rapid City Christian and everything was pretty familiar.

She kept things simple for her first day with a black T-shirt and jeans and was ready to get this new chapter started. And in another sign that our little girl was growing up, she even drove herself out to school with her new fancy permit. 😳

It’s hard to believe she was already walking into high school. The years really do go by way too fast. Another first day captured, another school year started, and another reminder to soak it all in while we can.

First Day of Fourth Grade

 

Jackson was back at it for another year of school! Just like the year before, he got an extra week of summer at home, which I’m sure he wasn’t complaining about. 😂 This year he was headed into 4th grade with a new teacher and was ready to see what the year would bring.

He was also continuing with piano, so school wasn’t the only thing keeping him busy. Other than a new teacher and another year older, much of it felt pretty familiar. Another first day in the books and another reminder of just how quickly these boys grow up!
