Halloween 2020

Jackson has not forgotten the Lego Police Man costume that we passed up last year at the thrift store so he was certain that is what he wanted to be when it was time to start talking about costumes for this year. Then we finally got around to watching The LEGO Movie one Friday night with Ellie at a sleepover. He was so excited about the movie that he even told Ellie she needed to be Wyldstyle. Of course we had to watch the movie again, and The LEGO Movie 2, so Ellie could see how AWESOME this idea of Jackson’s was.  (Yes, they are really in the costumes)

I figured we would build the whole costume but then found these super AWESOME masks online. Jackson helped with the construction of the bodies and Ellie did a great job painting her body. It was fun to see these come together. We just didn’t realize how hard it is to move as a LEGO character.
