Halloween 2019

I was honestly looking for a bit of an easier route this year with Halloween Costumes. Jackson and I happened to be at a second hand store when they had their rack of costumes out. As we fished through he found a Batman outfit that he liked and we already knew we had a Batman mask and cape at home that would round out his choice quite nicely and rather easier. If only there was something on the rack that would fit Ellie — and voila — a Wonder Woman shirt appeared.

All the SUPER parts to their costumes this year.

We were also pretty lucky to find a Wonder Woman cape in the dollar bins at Target so the only thing we needed to make was a skirt and accessories for Ellie’s costume. Because Jackson’s Batman jumper was a bit on the tiny side, we dressed up his rain boots that were getting too small and made some arm cuffs to match. So all in all, it was a fairly simple costume year.

Pumpkin Carving

It was another great year for pumpkins. We invited the Baker’s over as usual and then had a couple of other guests to take part in the festivities. Stephanie had just moved to town and then Coulter popped in for the weekend to visit his friend who was going to college in town. We almost forgot to get a picture of all of the kids together in their costumes. The pumpkins turned out great and the night was wrapped up with a 3-hour game of Life with Stephanie and Coulter after the Baker’s went home.
