Halloween 2018

We were not quite as prepared for Halloween this year, which really means that we didn’t have costumes done weeks in advance. Jackson had quite a few good ideas that included dressing up as a Transformer or being one of the Dukes of Hazzard with a friend from preschool. Then one afternoon he bounded out in a patch wielding a sward saying he wanted to be a pirate, so pirate he was. Ellie on the other hand thought it would be fun to reutilize her dance costume from this spring and become a beautiful peacock.

Pumpkin Carving

With hunting days in the bag we still had time to get in some pumpkin carving with the Bakers. We had such beautiful weather that we were able to carve outside in the sunshine this year. The carving seems to go faster each year and left us time for playing some yard football and watching football on tv. We truly enjoy this holiday tradition and look forward to it every year.
