Pre-Holiday Happenings 2017

Tree Trimming

Sadly there was no snow to play in this year. I wonder why we’re so bundled up?
Yep, this one should fit….maybe?
No snow, no problem. We can still have hot cocoa.

It seems that our trees keep getting bigger and bigger. This year our tree was taller than our ceiling and had to bend over at the top with no place for a star. Jackson’s solution was to leave it and just put the star in the tree instead of on top of the tree.

Ever wonder how we fall such a big tree?

Tree Decorating

The kids just love getting their ornaments out every year.
Perhaps a new favorite pre-holiday tradition — reading of the Christmas books.

Holiday Program

Ellie in the front row ready to howl out their dog song.

I had every great intention of getting that zoomed in shot from the our seats in the back, but I failed to make sure the camera batteries were charged so I had to make due with my phone.

(NOTE TO SELF: The program was recorded and is archived in our digital files.)

Visit Santa

Every year we like to take the kids to see Santa….usually on a random Tuesday night when the mall isn’t so busy. They seem to still enjoy it and it is fun to see how they both have grown in the pictures from the years, side-by-side.
