Lefse Weekend 2015

We were once again able to get our lefse mess in before Thanksgiving and it worked out for everyone, well mostly everyone, to make the trek back to Rapid City, where the revival of Grandma Myrna’s memories all started. Hard to believe it has been 6 years that we have been gathering to mix, roll, flip and mingle.

You will see in the pictures below that the day consisted of donuts, lots of flour, hunting, rolling, swinging, mixing, football, a birthday party, bike riding, sippy drinking, sandwiches, cousins wrestling, bagging, pizza, lots of smiles and many more memories.

Hard to say what the outcome of next year’s lefse making weekend will be. We hear that Dale’s new garage could use a light dusting of flour.
