Jackson is 6 months!

Time still seems to be flying right by with no signs of stopping. Jackson is growing faster than we ever could imagin. As of right now he still isn’t too mobile but it wont be long before he kicks it into high gear and we are chasing him every moment he can get away. As far as we know, he is a pretty typical boy with a smiley disposition and a keen curiosity that I am sure will get him into trouble someday soon. Here are a few notes to remember from months 4-6:

4 Months Old

  • weighed in at 14.51 pounds (43%) and measured 25.25 inchs (65%)
  • Found your feet
  • Find it awesome that you can reach for and grab things
  • Super strong grip
  • Love to stand
  • Roll from belly to your back
  • Went through a 4 month sleep regression / growth spurt

5 Months Old

  • Rolled from back to belly
  • Discovered that our toes can go in your mouth
  • First raspberries and a neat knocking noise
  • First Lefse making weekend
  • Sleeping between 6-10 hours each night
  • You love bath time

6 Months Old

  • Now weighs 16.7 pounds (33%) and measured 26 inchs (32%)
  • First runny nose
  • Two bottom teeth came in at the same time
  • Loves to stick tongue out
  • Never stays in the same spot for long
  • Sitting unassisted
  • First 13 hour stretch at night
