It’s Hot, Hot, HOT!
Our trip to Phoenix was just as great as always. It seemed hotter this year, but it’s still a dry heat. We did our usual clothes shopping and Mexican eating but also a few new things.
We were invited to stay a couple nights with the Furnish family and took in a soccer game, a volleyball game, a train ride through the park, fed the ducks and geese, had ourselves a princess parade, and took a tour of Mike’s fire station and truck.
Aside from the usual stores, this year we stopped at six, yes 6, different fabric shops, with one of them being a fabric by the pound warehouse. It was great and true to the fabric collector that I am, I made sure to buy some at each store.
We also took a relaxing drive up north with Sherri to Prescott, Arizona for lunch and saw a man walking his donkey down the street. It wouldn’t be a trip to Arizona with out lots of swimming, playing in the park and even a trip to the zoo.
Here are our photograph memories of our trip this year. As always we are very thankful that we can make it down to visit and appreciate being able to visit and stay with our family down there.
