Halloween 2012
After catching the Cody Night Rodeo during our summer vacation this year, Ellie was all about ‘coyboy horsies’ — translates to cowboy hats — so we went with a cute little sassy cowgirl costume for Halloween. I was pleased with it after finding the horse and knowing that trick-or-treat nights can be bitter cold here. Yep, we officially went knocking on doors this year. I think we hit all of five or six neighbors and were back to hand out candy by 6:00 pm, but we did it. Ellie loved every minute of it, and every piece of candy in her bucket.
Prior to October 31
Ellie’s friend, Olivia has a wonderful grandmother, Linda, who was kind enough to let us come and borrow her stack of hay for this year’s photo shoot. She even made a delicious breakfast for all of us girls and the two little ones had a fantastic time playing together as always.
Going on three years now, we also held to our annual B&B family pumpkin carving tradition and had the Baker’s over for pizza and pumpkin carving. The pumpkins seem to be growing in number, as do the super cute kiddos in costumes and our carving skills. It has been a joy sharing a family tradition with the Baker family and we look forward to it next year.
