Father’s Day 2012 – Bear Country

The weather was beautiful as we left for our Father’s Day drive. Brian decided that he wanted to go for a slow drive around Bear Country. It was great to see the excitement on Ellie’s face as the bears would walk right in front of us. Of course she wanted to roll the window down.

After our tour we mozzied on down to Custer and landed at the Purple Pie Place for some pie and ice cream. After that it was about nap time so Brian drove us home through Custer State Park while Ellie rested her eyes. Next thing we knew we were parked at a pull-out and he was resting his too. It made for a very relaxing Father’s Day.
