What you may not know about Brian
Shy, quite, reserved….that is Brian when you first meet him. Give him a chance to let his hair down and you just might see a whole different side of him.
Born in Dickinson, North Dakota as the first child of Tim and Mary, Brian grew up in the big ol’ town of Upton, Wyoming where he started riding dirt bikes when he was five, participated in cub scouts, little league, wrestling and football, and was only called out to the pallet shop a handful of times. He even had the honor of being homecoming king.
After high school, Brian went on to The School of Mines in Rapid City, South Dakota and became a mechanical engine with an ear. His first job in the real world lead him to Fort Wayne, Indiana where his claim to fame was the “smiley bumper” found on International Trucks. While there he bought his first Harley and fell in love with the wind in his face.
After three years he yearned to be closer to his family and decided to move to the Land of G (Gillette, Wyoming) where he became a maintenance guy at a coal mine south of town. Of course his growing passion for motorcycles and riding followed and he couldn’t resist the urge to build his own bike; the ridged.
Somewhere in there he was at the local watering hole, Jakes, when he was introduced to this young gal who instantly had a hold of attention by blowing her hoodie strings out of her nose. At that point in time Brian knew this girl was different.
She later moved away never to be heard from again….until she moved back. The rest is history. They became two peas in a pod, started seeing each other, then dated, then kissed…..and well, then Brian asked for her hand in marriage. They moved to Rapid city and were married on July 7, 2006.
Brian now works for a consulting company out of Denver. He is asked to travel from time to time and has been able to see a lot of the country. Every once in a while that girl he met goes with.
