A Little About Us

We are a pretty simple family living the good life in Rapid City. What can we say other then we feel pretty darn lucky.

We started dating January 2004 and the rest is history for another day (catch our Holiday Letter Archive for all the details). Since then our lives have molded together and nothing has been the same. July 7, 2006 was the date that we could officially use the same last name. When choosing a permanent place to make our home in we decided to stay close to our Wyoming roots and have found this to be a blessing as we get to see our family pretty much any dang time we want to. We love living in Rapid City and are happy that it has grown to be our home.

Our favorite season use to be any day it is warm enough to get the bikes out, but like we said, things change. Now a days you can no longer find us falling down the slopes in the winter time and we are no longer sitting across from each other in our home office instant messaging each other. We have also become pretty big fans of camping season.

Our road has been windy and it seems we live weekend to weekend just like most other families we know. You could say that we have settled in and enjoy our lazy days…and still are not quite certain where our days go.

In June of 2010 we welcomed another huge change in our lives with the birth of our first child, a beautiful little girl we named Ellie Marie. Just four short years later to the date in June 2014, we were blessed by the birth of our son, Jackson Timothy. We have found a huge soft spot for our kiddos, which we are happy to report, utilize much of our time these days and in doing so, they create a large part of our happy. We feel completely blessed that we are all healthy and thriving.

Even though the updates have seem to be slowing down, this is a good place to see what we’ve been up to. We are not certain what changes might be coming along next, but we welcome them with much anticipation.
